What drives the value of a donated stroller
The tier you pick is the biggest lever on this page. Here is what actually decides it.
Start with the recall check. Every stroller carries a model number and a date of manufacture on a label, usually on the frame or under the seat, and manufacturers and the federal recall list are searchable by both. A stroller subject to an open recall should not be passed to a charity even in good condition, and charities that accept baby equipment generally check this themselves before anything reaches the floor.
After that, value sits in the safety hardware and the frame. The harness webbing must be intact and un-frayed, the buckle must latch and release cleanly, the brake must hold on a slope, and the folding latch must lock positively rather than hovering. Frame corrosion at the joints, wheels with seized bearings, and a canopy with mildew or sun rot all move a stroller down a tier, and a frame that has been bent in a fall is not a donation.
Configuration explains the rest. Umbrella, jogging, and double strollers each serve a different buyer but our sources price them in a comparable band, while a travel system carries no published range at all. That is because a travel system includes an infant car seat, and car seats carry a manufacturer expiry or useful-life date stamped into the shell. Most charities will not accept a used car seat under any circumstances, so the seat portion is generally not a deductible contribution even when the stroller frame is.
What evidence supports the condition you claimed
A number you can trace and defend is worth more in an audit than a generous one you cannot.
Photograph the stroller folded and unfolded, the harness buckled, and the model and date label close enough to read. Wash the fabric where it comes off and note that you did. Record the recall check with the date you made it, since that is the piece of evidence a valuation guide cannot supply and the piece anyone would ask about first for used baby equipment.
Like new generally means recent, lightly used, complete with canopy, cover, and manual, and clean webbing. Good means used, clean, all safety hardware working, frame sound. Fair means it functions with faded fabric or scuffed frame but the harness, brake, and latch are intact. Frayed webbing, a failing buckle, a bent frame, or any open recall means it should not be donated at all rather than donated at a lower tier.

Travel system
A stroller sold with a matching infant car seat and base. Our sources publish no range for it, and the car seat part is generally not donatable because of expiry dating and charity policy.
Infant car seat on its own
Almost never accepted used, because the shell carries a manufacturer expiry date and no history of crashes can be verified. An item a charity will not accept produces no deduction.
High chair
A separate row in the nursery group, valued on the tray, the harness, and the stability of the base rather than on wheels and folding mechanisms.
